The CAMPUS Attendance App is developed for official use by authorized teachers
under the Education Department, Andaman & Nicobar Administration.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used,
and protected when teachers use the app for attendance purposes.
1. Information We Collect
Teacher Information
- Registered Mobile Number (for authentication and login).
- Name and school details linked to official records.
Location Information (Mandatory for Attendance)
- Precise location (latitude & longitude) is collected only during attendance submission.
- Used to verify that attendance is marked within school premises.
- Location is not tracked continuously in background.
- Location data is stored securely for audit and reporting purposes.
Student Attendance Data
- Student ID, Name, Class & Section.
- Attendance status (Present/Absent).
- No student personal contact information is collected.
Storage & Offline Data
- Attendance may be stored locally on device when internet is unavailable.
- Offline data automatically syncs when internet connectivity is restored.
Network & Device Information
- IP address for secure transmission of attendance data.
- Basic device identification for security and misuse prevention.
2. How We Use the Information
- To record and maintain daily student attendance.
- To generate reports for schools and administrators.
- To ensure authenticity of attendance records.
- To improve app performance and system security.
- To comply with government regulations.
3. Data Sharing
Data is shared only with:
- School administrators and Education Department officials.
- Authorized government authorities if legally required.
No data is sold, rented, or shared with third-party advertisers.
4. Data Security
- Encrypted transmission of data over secure connections.

5. Data Retention
Attendance records are retained as per government record retention policies.
Teacher authentication details are stored securely for official use only.

8. Request Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your CAMPUS Mobile App account and associated data,
you can submit a deletion request by sending an email from your registered
mobile number email ID to the address below.
Please include the following details in your email:
- Teacher Name
- Registered Mobile Number
- School Name
- Reason for deletion
Once the request is received and verified, the account and associated
personal information will be deleted from our system within
7 working days upon verification.
Certain attendance records may be retained for administrative,
legal, or audit purposes as required by government policy.
